Hebron: Israeli colonists release their cattle and camels on Palestinian-owned land in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, on Sunday, while others stole a vehicle. Israeli occupation forces prevented peace activists from documenting these violations.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, media activist Osama Makhameh reported that colonists released their livestock on agricultural land and around Palestinian homes in the Ashkara and Khirbet al-Markaz areas of Masafer Yatta. This action caused damage to crops and trees and resulted in injury to residents' property.
Makhameh further stated that a vehicle belonging to Shaddad al-Hamamdeh was stolen by the colonists in the Huwwara area of Masafer Yatta. Additionally, Israeli occupation forces expelled two Israeli activists from Khirbet al-Fakhit in Masafer Yatta, preventing them from documenting the ongoing violations in the area. These incidents have escalated significantly recently, affecting communities in Masafer Yatta and southern Hebron.
He explained that these attacks occur under the protection of the occupation forces, which have increased their military presence around the colonies.
