Colonists Raze Agricultural Lands Near Jericho

Jericho: Israeli colonists, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, on Wednesday razed vast areas of agricultural land owned by the residents of the village of Shalla al-Auja, north of Jericho.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the razing operations affected vast areas of fertile land, in a clear attempt to impose a new fait accompli in preparation for seizing these lands and expanding settlements.

Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights stated that this attack constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and is part of a systematic policy of land plunder and displacement of the indigenous population. The organization is calling for urgent intervention by the international community to stop these ongoing violations.
