Colonists Launch Assault on Turmusaya, Ignite Palestinian Lands Near Ramallah

Ramallah: A group of Israeli colonists attacked the town of Turmusaya, setting fire to Palestinian-owned agricultural land and firing live ammunition at residents and their homes. Local sources reported that the colonists targeted the outskirts of the town, prompting residents to rush to defend their land. In the course of the attack, the colonists opened fire with live bullets, endangering civilians and damaging property.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this attack is part of a broader pattern of daily and escalating violence carried out by colonists and backed by Israeli occupation forces across northeastern Ramallah villages. These villages include Al-Mughayyir, Abu Falah, Sinjil, Kafr Malik, Al-Taybeh, Deir Jarir, and Al-Mazra'a al-Sharqiya. The assaults often involve physical attacks on residents, the burning of agricultural crops, and the closure of main village entrances.

Yesterday, four Palestinians, including a child, were killed in the town of Kafr Malik by colonists and Israeli forces providing them with protection.
