Gaza: Colonists continue to fence off more Palestinian-owned land in the northern Jordan Valley, exacerbating the suffering of farmers and herders and threatening their livelihoods.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the village council in al-Maleh and the Bedouin encampments, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that colonists continued fencing off agricultural land in the al-Farsiya area, which is officially registered with land deeds to Palestinian citizens.
He added that tens of thousands of dunams of agricultural and grazing land are now surrounded by barbed wire, effectively seizing them and depriving their owners of their use.
In recent weeks, colonists have fenced off more than 2,000 dunams in areas near al-Farsiya, continuing a series of violations targeting Palestinian lands in the northern Jordan Valley.
