Post: Colonists Fence Lands Near Tubas, Block Farmers’ Access to Their Lands

Jericho: Israeli colonists on Friday evening began fencing tracts of land in the village of Atouf, southeast of Tubas, according to a local official. Head of Atouf Village Council, Abdullah Bsharat, said that colonists fenced grazing areas east of Atouf and prevented Palestinian farmers from accessing their nearby agricultural lands.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the actions by the colonists have raised concerns among local farmers who rely on these lands for their livelihoods. The fencing effectively blocks access to essential agricultural areas, impacting the local economy and food supply. The incident is part of ongoing tensions in the region, where land access and usage rights are contentious issues.
