Colonists Establish New Outpost Near Al-Auja Bedouin Community, North of Jericho

Jericho: A group of Israeli colonists established a new outpost on Tuesday afternoon inside the Bedouin community of Shallal Al-Auja, located north of the city of Jericho.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hasan Mlehat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, reported that the colonists set up initial structures on the ruins of one of the abandoned homes in the community. They also constructed metal barracks and internal sections at the site.

With the establishment of this new outpost, the total number of outposts in and around the community has increased to four. The Al-Baidar Organization described this development as part of ongoing expansion attempts that pose a threat to Bedouin communities in the area.
