Colonists Escalate Attacks Amid Israel-Iran-US War, Resulting in Six Palestinian Deaths

Hebron: The head of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Minister Muayyad Shabaan, reported that colonists have carried out 192 attacks over the past two weeks amid the ongoing Israel-Iran-US conflict, leading to the deaths of six Palestinians.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Minister detailed in a special report that colonists have taken advantage of the current regional instability to intensify attacks on Palestinian villages and communities. These attacks have been organized and systematic, involving direct gunfire at civilians, arson of homes and property, and other aggressive actions aimed at altering the geographic and demographic landscape of the West Bank.

The report highlighted that these incidents were primarily concentrated in the Hebron Governorate, which experienced 47 attacks. Tubas, Nablus, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem also saw significant numbers of attacks, with additional incidents reported in other areas.

Shabaan further explained that the recent surge in violence has forced the displacement of four Palestinian Bedouin communities, affecting 37 families and totaling 191 individuals, including 65 women and 106 children. The attacks included 46 acts of vandalism, such as property destruction, crop damage, and land leveling, as well as three attacks on religious sites, like attempted arson at the Muhammad Fayyad Mosque in Duma and assaults on other significant mosques.

Additionally, colonists attempted to establish eight new colonial outposts, seeking to impose new realities on the ground. This move is seen as part of a coordinated effort by the occupation government and settler militias to solidify their presence and influence in the region.

Minister Shabaan called on the international community, human rights, and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities by intervening to stop these violations and protect the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites.

The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission had previously warned that colonists were exploiting the ongoing war conditions, urging Palestinians to remain vigilant against the increased settler crimes amid the regional conflict, media focus, and international distractions due to the military developments with Iran.
