Masafer yatta: Colonists set up three tents on Palestinian land in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, on Monday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh reported that armed settlers established the tents in the Huwara area with the intention of creating a new settlement outpost.
The settlers marked the area by placing several flags around the tents and bringing in household items, furniture, and furnishings. In an act perceived as provocative, they released a large number of sheep and cows among Palestinian homes and on their lands. This move was seen as an attempt to pressure residents by causing damage to trees, property, and agricultural crops.
Additionally, the colonists conducted excavation operations using heavy machinery at a settlement outpost near the village of Al-Halawa in Masafer Yatta. They also obstructed citizens from accessing their lands, citing that the area was designated for training and shooting exercises.
