Nablus: Colonists erected a caravan on Palestinian-owned lands north of the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, according to a local official. The move, which took place on a Friday, is part of a wider effort to expand colonial settlements in the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hani Odeh, the Head of the Qusra village council, reported that the colonists have been placing caravans on various parts of the village's lands. Recently, caravans have been installed on lands located to the north, east, and south of Qusra village.
Odeh further mentioned that Israeli occupation forces are obstructing agricultural roads that lead to these lands, effectively preventing residents from accessing their own property. This blockade is part of an ongoing strategy to confiscate more land and establish additional colonial outposts.
The village of Qusra encompasses approximately 9,000 dunums of land, which is categorized under Areas B and C. This territory is encircled by five colonies, with the largest, Migdalim, situated to the east. The additional four colonies are positioned in the southern region of the village.
