Colonists Bulldoze Palestinian Land in Umm Safa as Expansion Plans Intensify

Umm safa: Israeli occupation forces and colonists bulldozed large areas of Palestinian land in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, on Sunday, according to local officials.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Marwan Sabbah, head of the Umm Safa Village Council, stated that colonist-operated bulldozers leveled approximately 40 dunums of land in the Jabal al-Ras area, located east of the village.

Sabbah further explained that Israeli colonists have already seized hundreds of dunums in the southern part of the village, with intentions to convert the area into a colonial grazing outpost.

He expressed concern over a larger plan to forcibly displace the village's residents to establish a large colonial settlement bloc on privately owned Palestinian land and homes, potentially connecting it to two adjacent colonies.
