Colonists Bulldoze Land Near the Jordan Valley

Jordan valley: Colonists began bulldozing Palestinian-owned land in Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley on Monday. The action marks an escalation in tensions in the region, where disputes over land ownership and usage have persisted for years.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the al-Maleh and Bedouin encampments village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that the colonists initiated the bulldozing without any known reason. This activity is part of a broader pattern of land disputes in the area.

Yesterday, colonists also fenced off hundreds of dunams in the same region as part of what is described as a silent annexation policy targeting the eastern strip of the Tubas Governorate. This policy has already resulted in the displacement of six Palestinian families from the area a year ago.

Large areas in the northern Jordan Valley are currently experiencing heightened settler activities, with increased incidents of actions targeting Palestinian citizens and their properties. The situation continues to draw attention as local and international communities monitor developments closely.
