Colonists Attack Shepherds in Masafer Yatta South of Hebron

Hebron: Armed colonists on Saturday evening attacked Palestinian shepherds in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-colonial settlement activist Osama Makhamreh reported that armed colonists from the settlement outposts constructed on residents' lands in Masafer Yatta assaulted shepherds from the Abu Obeid family in the village of Al-Tabban. The colonists, with the support of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the shepherds, pelted them with stones, and attempted to steal their livestock. However, the shepherds managed to successfully fend off the attackers.

In a separate incident on the same night, colonists reportedly stole a horse owned by a Palestinian in the plains of Deir Sharaf village, west of Nablus.
