Qalqilya: Israeli colonists attacked a home today on the eastern outskirts of the village of Farata, located east of Qalqilya city in the northern West Bank, according to the homeowner. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hijazi Yamin reported that a group of Israeli colonists from the nearby Havat Gilad colony pelted his house with stones, restraining his family of seven from leaving or moving inside the property, under the claim that they were herding sheep in the area. He expressed a rising sense of insecurity, explaining that he now fears leaving his wife and children alone or allowing them to attend school or perform daily errands, due to the increasing exposure to danger from repeated attacks. Yamin further added that these attacks are part of ongoing pressure to force him to leave his home, citing its proximity to the colony as the pretext. He urged relevant bodies to urgently intervene to protect him and his family and to halt the practices threatening their safety and security. Farata village, situated east of Qalqilya, is encircled by the villages of Immatin, Baqat al-Hatab, Hajjah, Al-Funduq, and Jit.
