Colonists Attack Bedouin Community Northeast of Jerusalem

Mukhmas: Israeli colonists, on Sunday evening, attacked the Khillat al-Sidra Bedouin community near the town of Mukhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and assaulted Palestinian citizens' property.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Jerusalem Governorate stated that about 15 colonists attacked the community and stole solar-powered floodlights. It was noted that this community had been subjected to a similar attack the previous night, during which stones were thrown at residents' dwellings.

The Khillat al-Sidra community is encircled by six colonial outposts, from which groups of colonists initiate attacks. These actions are aimed at pressuring Palestinian residents and forcing them to vacate their lands.

The governorate asserted that these persistent attacks against Bedouin communities around Jerusalem are intended to forcibly clear the area of its residents. The governorate has called for urgent measures to ensure the protection of these communities.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonists carried out 2,144 attacks during November. This includes 1,523 attacks by Israeli forces and 621 by colonists. The majority of the attacks were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah and al-Bireh (360), Hebron (348), Bethlehem (342), and Nablus (334).
