Colonists Assault Israeli Solidarity Activists Near Salfit

Salfit: Colonists attacked a number of Israeli solidarity activists from the Ma’an and Rabbis for Human Rights movements on Tuesday in the Wadi Abbas area, located between the towns of Deir Istiya and Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that armed colonists assaulted the activists, causing injuries at the scene and threatening to shoot them. The incident highlights ongoing tensions in the region as the activists were engaged in solidarity efforts.

It is worth noting that the Wadi Abbas area, near the colony of Revava and several recently established unauthorized grazing outposts, has been the site of repeated attacks by colonists. These attacks target residents, farmers, and solidarity activists, contributing to an atmosphere of hostility and confrontation.
