Hebron: An eight-month-old Palestinian infant was injured late last night in a colonist attack on Palestinian homes in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a group of armed colonists from the illegal colony of Asfar and the newly established outpost in the Jorat al-Khail area attacked Palestinian homes and properties with stones in the al-Rabia area of ??Sa'ir. The attack resulted in injuries to Mayar Shalalda's face and head. She was taken to a hospital where her condition was described as moderate. Significant damage was also reported to homes and property. A group of colonists from the same colony attacked residents in the Wadi Sa'ir area last month, injuring several people and setting fire to a house and two vehicles. On October 1st, colonists cut down approximately 400 olive and almond trees and burned dozens of dunams of Palestinian land, as part of an ongoing series of attacks aimed at forcibly displacing residents from their land to facil itate settlement expansion.
