Civilians Killed and Wounded in Israeli Airstrike on Home in Beit Lahiya.


Beit Lahiya: Several civilians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike late Thursday evening in the city of Beit Lahiya, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Israeli fighter jets targeted a house belonging to the al-Muqayyad family, which was sheltering displaced members of the Al-Shalfooh family. The assault resulted in multiple casualties, both fatalities and injuries, although the exact number is still being confirmed.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,580 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 105,739 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel’s attacks continue despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide a
nd alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
