Jenin: A 17-year-old Palestinian child was seriously injured by live fire from Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening during a military raid on the village of Anza, located south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, its teams responded to the incident and treated the boy, who was shot in the chest with live ammunition. Due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred first to a nearby emergency center in the town of Ajja, and then to a hospital in Jenin for further treatment.
Local sources told WAFA that several Israeli military vehicles stormed the village, deploying soldiers and snipers throughout the streets. The incursion triggered confrontations with local residents. During the clashes, Israeli forces fired live bullets and stun grenades, resulting in the boy’s injury.
