Child Killed by Unexploded Israeli Ordnance in Khan Younis, Southern Gaza

Khan younis: A Palestinian child was killed on Saturday evening after an unexploded device left by Israeli occupation forces detonated in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Local sources reported that the child's body was transferred to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, international aid organizations have previously warned of the dangers posed by remnants of war in Gaza. They noted that such hazards could persist for 20 to 30 years, describing the territory as a minefield with no clear map.

Since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in October 2023, the death toll has risen to 69,169, mostly women and children, with 170,685 others injured. Many victims remain trapped under the rubble.
