Australian PM Criticizes Netanyahu Over Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

Gaza: Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Tuesday that his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, is in denial about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. This statement comes after Australia announced its intention to recognize a Palestinian state for the first time during the upcoming UN General Assembly, a move that reflects mounting international pressure on Israel, preceded by countries such as France, Britain, and Canada.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Albanese said that Netanyahu's government has shown reluctance to heed the advice of its allies, which prompted Australia to make this decision.
