Armed Colonists Unleash Livestock into Palestinian Lands, Seize Water Well in Masafer Yatta

Masafer Yatta: Armed Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, raided Palestinian agricultural lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, on Tuesday. The colonists unleashed their livestock into cultivated farmlands, causing destruction of crops and the uprooting and breaking of fruit-bearing trees.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Osama Makhamra, an activist with the anti-settlement movement, reported that dozens of colonists stormed the area, damaging property of local residents in the villages. They forcibly seized a water well used for irrigating crops and watering livestock.

Colonists further blocked access to the well, causing fear and panic among nearby families, particularly women and children from the Jabarin and Mohammad families living in the area. Makhamra emphasized that this attack is part of a systematic campaign of forced displacement by Israeli authorities and colonists, with the aim of seizing more Palestinian lands and expanding illegal colonies.
