Jerusalem: Armed Israeli colonists stormed the Bedouin community of Khirbet al-Sidra, located near the town of Mikhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, on Thursday, and blocked the road connecting the community to the town.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Jerusalem Governorate reported that a group of colonists used a bulldozer to block the road, marking a new and serious attack targeting the Palestinian presence in the area. The Governorate highlighted that this attack is part of a systematic policy aimed at Palestinian Bedouin communities around Jerusalem and poses a direct threat to the lives and property of the residents.
The Governorate called on international organizations to urgently intervene to provide protection for the residents and halt the repeated colonist attacks, which occur under the full protection of the Israeli army. Earlier this week, groups of colonists also attacked the community and attempted to assault the residents, who confronted them and prevented them from entering the community.
