Tulkarm: The Israeli occupation forces continued the aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 11th consecutive day, amidst massive destruction, mass displacement and unprecedented military reinforcements. Earlier today, the occupation forces fired randomly and intensively at the homes of civilians in Tulkarm camp and Al-Sikka Street near the Iktaba suburb. No injuries were reported, however.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the occupation forces continue to send more additional military reinforcements, especially infantry, from the direction of the Tsnaoz military camp west of the city, passing through its streets leading to the camp. These forces are heavily deployed in front of the main northern entrance to the camp and in the agricultural lands opposite it, conducting combing and searching operations. They have seized several residential buildings surrounding and exposing the camp, converting them into military outposts.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation soldiers are widely deployed inside the camp's alleys and lanes, with large numbers of sniper teams positioned inside homes, ready to shoot at anything moving. The camp is under a complete siege, experiencing extensive raids on homes by the occupation forces, vandalism, destruction, and the expulsion of residents. This has led to the displacement of thousands of residents, leaving only hundreds on the outskirts of the camp, specifically in the Qaqun neighborhood.
The escalating Israeli aggression has caused comprehensive destruction in the camp, affecting the entire infrastructure of electricity, water, communications, and internet networks. Additionally, dozens of homes, shops, and institutions have faced total and partial destruction, burning, and bombing, further deepening the suffering of the remaining residents.
Videos and photos taken by citizens from inside the camp show the massive destruction in Al-Ghanem neighborhood, with partially destroyed homes, some completely burned, alleys filled with rubble, and a dilapidated infrastructure. The area is completely empty of residents, resembling a scene hit by an earthquake.
Civilians still in their homes in the Qaqun neighborhood, trapped amidst the destruction, have launched appeals for urgent humanitarian aid, including food, water, medicines, and baby milk, especially due to the interruption of utilities and basic services caused by the aggression.
Yesterday, the occupation army prevented the Palestinian Red Crescent Society crews from distributing aid to the residents inside the camp, citing an expired deadline and forcing them to leave. In Tulkarm city, infantry forces are heavily deployed in the eastern neighborhood, raiding homes and converting some into military barracks.
Last night, the occupation forces stationed around the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital fired at the live broadcast cameras of local al-Salam TV, causing the broadcast to cut off. Infantry soldiers also stormed the Al-Adawiya Girls' School, deploying snipers at its windows, while continuing the siege of the hospital and using the adjacent Al-Adawiya Commercial Building as a military outpost, obstructing the work of ambulances and medical crews.
