A statement from his media office stated that Al-Mandalawi received, in his guest house today, Tuesday, the Spanish Ambassador, to discuss files of common concern, and the latest developments on the local and regional arenas. During the meeting, the prospects of bilateral relations between the two sides were discussed, and the importance of consolidating them in various fields was emphasized, in a way that achieves the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples, especially at the economic and investment levels, in addition to expanding scientific and cultural cooperation, activating the work of the Joint Friendship Committee, as well as facilitating the granting of entry visas to citizens wishing to visit Spain. According to the statement, Al- Mandalawi discussed with Spanish Ambassador, the recent events in the region, especially the Zionist terrorist aggression against the people of Lebanon, praising the official and popular Spanish position towards the genocide crimes that our brothers in Lebanon and Palestine are being subjected to, calling on European countries to pressure the leaders of the occupation to stop the brutal attacks on the peoples of the region, while warning at the same time of the repercussions of the expansion of the war on security and stability in Europe due to its proximity and influence in the Middle East.
