Baghdad, The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, discussed with Naseer Mammadov, Azerbaijan’s ambassador To Iraq, developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region and bilateral relations between Iraq and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Al-Hakim called for investing in the commonalities between the two sides in the cultural and economic field, stressing the importance of exchanging visits at the official level because of its importance in bringing viewpoints closer and coordinating positions.
He stressed the need to exchange experiences in the field of informatics and modern technology.
Regarding the Palestinian issue, Al-Hakim renewed his call on the international community to work to stop the war and bring relief materials into the besieged Gaza Strip.
