Negev - Ma'an - Israeli authorities' bulldozers and machinery demolished the tents of the residents of the unrecognized village of Al-Araqib in the Negev region in the lands of 1948 for the 230th time on Monday morning, under the protection of police forces and their affiliated units. This is the eighth time that the Israeli authorities have demolished the tents and homes housing the people of Al-Araqib since the beginning of this year, after demolishing them 11 times in 2023, 15 times in 2022, and 14 times in 2021. The first time the Israeli authorities demolished Al-Araqib was on July 27, 2010, while the last time before today was on August 29. The Israeli authorities refuse to recognize their right to ownership of the land and are restricting them in order to force them to emigrate by demolishing the village, as well as bulldozing agricultural crops and preventing them from pasturing and raising livestock.
