Mogadishu, At least 30 Al Qaeda-linked Al Shabaab militants were killed during a military operation conducted by Somali army in Galmudug state in central Somalia. Samalia news agency (SONNA) reported that the Somali National Army backed by the international security partners conducted an operation and killed 30 Al Shabaab members in Rage Baris area between Galgaduud and the Middle Shabelle region. The operation also destroyed two trucks and one pickup which belonged to the militants, it added. Source: Qatar News Agency
