Gaza City: At least 21 civilians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since dawn Sunday, according to medical sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, eight people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Jabalia town in northern Gaza. Medical teams also recovered the bodies of two civilians following an Israeli airstrike on the Ma'an area east of Khan Yunis. Five others, including two young girls, were killed after an Israeli drone targeted tents sheltering displaced families in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. Additionally, another civilian succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous Israeli strike on Khan Yunis.
In Rafah, four civilians were killed and 70 others were injured after Israeli forces opened fire near an aid center west of the city. In central Gaza, one civilian was killed and several others were injured by Israeli gunfire near an aid distribution site at what is referred to as the 'Netzarim Corridor.'
Israeli forces also destroyed residential homes and civilian structures in Jabalia in the north and east of Gaza City. Medical sources warned that fuel reserves at Gaza hospitals will last only two more days, and that the wounded are struggling to reach medical facilities in southern Gaza due to ongoing attacks and infrastructure collapse.
