13 Civilians Killed in Israeli Shelling Across Gaza Strip

Gaza Strip: Thirteen civilians were killed and others wounded early Thursday morning in Israeli shelling of several areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, seven citizens, including children and women, were killed when Israeli forces bombed a home belonging to the Azzam family and a kindergarten in Jabalia al-Balad, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Further south, a man and his pregnant wife lost their lives, and several others were wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a group of citizens in Khan Yunis. Additionally, the body of a citizen was recovered following an earlier Israeli attack in the town of Abasan al-Jadida, also located in the Khan Yunis region.

In central Gaza, 13-year-old Ahmed Awad Sarsour was killed and others were injured when a tent housing displaced persons was bombed in the al-Barakah area of Deir al-Balah.

The WAFA correspondent also reported that several citizens were wounded by Israeli gunfire near an aid distribution center in the "Morag axis," southwest of Khan Yunis.

Since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has escalated to 54,084, with the majority being children and women. The number of injured has climbed to 123,308, while numerous victims are still trapped under the rubble.
