Nablus: 12 Palestinians were injured by the occupation forces' bullets on Sunday during the confrontations that erupted after special Israeli forces stormed the old town of Nablus.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the director of the Red Crescent's Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Amid Ahmed, reported that 12 individuals, including an elderly man and children, sustained injuries from the occupation forces' bullets during the raid on the old town of Nablus.

Amid Ahmed detailed that eight of the injuries were in the lower limbs, two were in the hand, with an additional injury in the pelvic area. A child suffered shrapnel wounds to the hand and face, and a young man was transferred to a medical facility after being run over by an occupation military vehicle. The incident also resulted in dozens of cases of suffocation due to toxic gas exposure.

He highlighted that the occupation forces obstructed ambulance crews from accessing Zafer Al-Masry School, located near the old town, further complicating rescue operations.

Additionally, the occupation forces detained a young man from the old town, whose identity remains unidentified. The Israeli special forces of the occupation army initiated the raid by storming the old town, surrounding a house in the Habas al-Dam neighborhood amidst explosions and heavy gunfire.
